On Wednesday, May 15, Palestinians marked the 76th anniversary of their mass expulsion from their lands, now known as the Occupied Territories. This event, known as the "Nakba" in Arabic, meaning "catastrophe," saw approximately 700,000 Palestinians, the majority of the pre-war population, forced to flee or being driven from their homes before and during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war that followed the illegal establishment of Israel.
It seems that the real Nakba is going to haunt the Israeli regime in the years to come. Should the regime prepare itself for the beginning of the end?
