Syed Zafar Mehdi is an award-winning journalist, blogger, political observer and author based in Tehran.
He is presently working as the director of the Press TV website, multimedia and social media department. He was previously chief editor at the Press TV website.
Mehdi has higher degrees in journalism and international affairs from India. He began his media career in 2009 in New Delhi as a reporter with India’s leading newspaper Hindustan Times.
For the past 14 years, he has held top editorial and managerial positions at leading news organizations in India, Afghanistan and Iran.
