Ban: Assad fate must not block Syria solution
The UN secretary-general says settling the crisis in Syria should not be hindered by differences on the fate of President Bashar al-Assad. Ban made the comments days after anti-Damascus groups that gathered in the Saudi capital had called for the ouster of Assad.
