More than 300 Iranian scholars have issued a statement pledging allegiance to newly elected Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani has extended his congratulations to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei on his election as the new Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.

The chiefs of Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad have congratulated Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei on his election as the Leader of the Islamic Revolution. 

President Masoud Pezeshkian has hailed the “magnificent and epic” presence of millions of Iranians in nationwide rallies against the recent riots, saying the massive turnout has neutralized the “sinister designs” of foreign enemies and their mercenaries.

The Islamic Revolution Leader says Tehran will stand firm against vandalism and foreign-backed unrest, noting that Iran “will not back down” in the face of those acting to curry favor with the US president.

Iran’s ambassador to Beirut says a fresh media onslaught against Iran and the Islamic Revolution Leader has failed to weaken the Islamic Republic or mislead public opinion.

Major General Ali Abollahi is appointed as the commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters.
