The Euro-Med has warned of the grave risk to the life of Dr. Abu Safiya due to torture, following his detention by Israeli forces in late December, calling for for an urgent international action to release him.

Calls are growing for the immediate release of the Kamal Adwan Hospital director, forcibly detained by Israeli forces following his heroic resistance in the face of the regime’s aggression.

Dr. Hussam Abu Safia was wounded by shrapnel from a bomb dropped by an Israeli quadcopter drone on the hospital.
