NY police say they will not be intimidated after ISIL threatening video
Police in New York say they are aware of a newly released ISIL video suggesting the largest US city will be a potential target of attacks like Paris.
Bratton made the remarks in a press conference with New York Mayor Bill de Blasio. De Blasio said there is no specific and credible threat against the city. He said New York City's 35,000 strong police force, which is the country's largest, is working tirelessly to keep the city safe. The ISIL video, which runs for nearly six minutes, includes a scene that appears to show a suicide bomber making preparations and zipping up a jacket. The clip briefly shows New York’s Times Square and Herald Square.
