Footage shows hotel used by former Yemeni officials under rocket attack
A hotel used by officials of the former Yemeni government has come under a rocket attack in the southern port city of Aden.
Khaled Bahah, who was prime minister in the cabinet of fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi was at the Qasr Hotel when the attack took place. Some reports say at least 20 Emirati soldiers were killed in the attack which hit the entrance of the hotel. But it’s unclear if the shelling left any casualties among the former Yemeni officials. Hadi’s cabinet members resided in Aden after returning to Yemen on September 16. They fled to Saudi Arabia in March in the face of advancing Ansarullah fighters and their allied army units who took control of the capital Sana’a and much of Yemen.
