Interview: Gen. Rezaei on Iran’s seven conditions for peace

Mohsen Rezaei outlines Iran’s seven conditions for negotiations, the Strait of Hormuz, and Tehran’s broader political, nuclear, and regional priorities.

In this interview, Major General Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, discusses Iran’s position following a war of aggression by the United States and Israel, ongoing diplomatic exchanges with Washington, and the future of regional security in West Asia.

He outlines Iran’s seven conditions for negotiations, maintains that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until those conditions are met, and stresses that Tehran will neither relinquish its rights nor accept a return to the previous diplomatic framework.

Rezaei also addresses Iran’s nuclear policy, criticizes the International Atomic Energy Agency’s conduct, and argues that attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities have undermined public confidence in international oversight.

He underscores the importance of national cohesion and economic resilience, and argues that the outcome of the confrontation has reinforced Iran’s regional standing and shifted global public opinion.
