Countries call for equal access to nuclear technology at IAEA conference

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is holding the International Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Power in Incheon, South Korea.

The three-day conference opened on Tuesday to discuss the growing use and diversification of atomic technology. However, the IAEA faces a growing crisis of legitimacy as the agency continues to apply double standards toward certain countries and failing to adequately protect nuclear facilities from targeted attacks, including US and Israeli strikes on Iran’s peaceful nuclear energy installations.
