‘Iran will not bow to Western attempts at destabilization,’ analyst says

Human rights activist Firas al-Najim says Iran will not bow to Western pressure, slamming the West for double standards and using Starlink to fuel destabilization.

Human rights activist Firas al-Najim slams Western powers, particularly Norway, for undermining Iran’s sovereignty and security, arguing that their actions violate international law and serve US and Israeli interests amid escalating regional tensions.

In an interview with Press TV on Monday, he pointed to Western double standards, contrasting criticism of Iran with measures taken by countries such as Canada against protesters and efforts to monitor and sanction members of the Iranian community.

On internet restrictions and Starlink access in Iran, Najim argues that Western-backed connectivity can be exploited to fuel unrest and instability, saying Tehran’s temporary measures are security responses aimed at countering foreign-backed operations, preventing further violence, and protecting national stability.

The commentator further notes that Iran will not bow to Western pressure, stressing that the Islamic Republic remains committed to defending its sovereignty, resisting foreign domination and supporting the Palestinian cause and regional resistance.
