IRGC: Two US-coerced deviant tankers explode in unsafe Strait of Hormuz route

The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced in a statement that two deviant oil tankers, instigated and forced by the child-killing US military, exploded on Monday night after attempting to enter and exit via the unsafe and accident-prone southern route of the Strait of Hormuz.

The vessels were left immobilized, underscoring the severe risks and consequences of provocative actions aimed at undermining Iran’s sovereign control over this strategic waterway.

According to the IRGC statement, the tankers sought to violate designated secure maritime corridors under direct pressure and coercion from the US terrorist military.

The statement cited the Quranic verse: “If they break their oaths after their covenant and attack your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief; indeed, they have no oaths; perhaps they will cease.”

Addressing the heroic Islamic nation of Iran, the statement said, “This is our land, and the intervention of the terrorist American army from thousands of kilometers away has no legal legitimacy and will definitely be confronted.”

It issued a clear warning, saying as long as America’s mischief and aggression continue in the region, the passage will not be secure for the transit of chemical substances or even a single drop of oil and gas.

The invading army was urged to prepare for punitive operations in response to this illegal transgression.

The IRGC statement concluded quoting a Quranic verse: “And there is no victory except from God, the Mighty, the Wise.”

The announcement comes amid renewed escalation in the region following the US and Zionist regime’s joint offensive against Iran that began in February.

Iran has responded with legitimate retaliatory drone and missile strikes against US assets hosted in Persian Gulf nations.

A brief Pakistani-mediated memorandum of understanding last month aimed to de-escalate the conflict, but US provocations over the Strait of Hormuz have once again heightened tensions.

A separate report from the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) noted a vessel on fire approximately 8 nautical miles northwest of Kumzar, Oman, further confirming the incident in the area.

Iran has repeatedly affirmed its sovereign right to secure the Strait of Hormuz, through which a vital portion of global energy transits. Any attempt by foreign powers to create insecurity or bypass Iranian oversight will be met with firm and decisive measures by the brave forces of the IRGC Navy.
