Trial of Yamin Makri: Hundreds in Lyon decry repression targeting pro-Palestinian figure

Pro-Palestinian activist Yamin Makri, a prominent figure in Lyon for more than three decades, appeared before the Lyon Judicial Court.
He is charged with “apology of terrorism” for Facebook posts from 2022 mentioning Palestinian resistance. A protest was held outside the court in support of the activist.
