The Yemeni Armed Forces have claimed responsibility for a string of operations against vital targets deep inside the Israeli-occupied territories as well as US warships in the northern tip of the Red Sea.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for Yemen’s military, announced in a statement on Saturday that Yemeni forces had conducted simultaneous reprisal strikes against two strategic installations in Tel Aviv and the city of Ashkelon in the southern side of the occupied lands, using domestically-developed combat drones.

Additionally, Yemeni air force and naval units launched a joint military operation on the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier and its escorts in the Red Sea in retaliation for the continued US aggression against the Arab country.

The spokesman for the Yemeni military said the forces struck the US warships with several indigenous unmanned aerial vehicles.

Saree underlined that the Yemeni Armed Forces will conduct their retaliatory operations against the Zionist entity deep inside the occupied Palestinian territories at an escalating pace, and will not stop doing so regardless of the extent of the US aggression.

“They will also continue their attacks in the Red and Arabian Seas, targeting all hostile forces until the ongoing aggression against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip ceases and the tight blockade is completely lifted,” he pointed out.

In reaction to the atrocities committed by Israel in Gaza and the aggression of the US and UK against Yemen, the Yemeni Armed Forces have initiated a series of strikes aimed at Israeli, American, and British interests in the Red Sea and adjacent regions.

As the genocidal war on Gaza escalated, the Yemenis enacted a strategic blockade on essential maritime routes, with the goal of obstructing the delivery of military supplies to Israel and urging the international community to take action regarding the ongoing humanitarian emergency in Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared they will continue their assaults until Israel ceases its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
