South Africa stands firm against US as ambassador expelled

Relations between South Africa and the US are at an all-time low as the Trump administration has declared Pretoria’s ambassador to Washington as persona non grata and ordered his exit from American soil.
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has described the US move as regrettable.
Meanwhile, many analysts attribute the expulsion to South Africa’s stance on the issue of Palestine.
