Pakistani government pledges to restore peace in Parachinar

The Pakistani government has renewed its pledge to use all its resources to bring peace to the Shia-majority Parachinar city of Kurram district. Authorities have ordered measures to ensure medical aid as part of efforts to overcome the shortage of life-saving medicines in the violence-hit region.
