The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has inflicted more casualties on intruding Israeli troops and carried out further retaliatory attacks on Israeli military positions in the occupied territories.

In a series of statements released on Thursday, Hezbollah said its fighters had targeted with a missile barrage and artillery fire Jal al-Allam site located near the Lebanese border with the occupied lands.

Hezbollah also announced it targeted a logistical base of the Israeli military’s 146th division, located northeast of the settlement of Netiv HaShayara, east of Nahariyya, with a rocket barrage.

The resistance group said it staged an operation with a rocket barrage against the Israeli troops stationed at “Dovev Barracks” earlier in the day.

Hezbollah further said that it fired barrages of rockets toward groups of Israeli soldiers in the Sa`sa, Yesud HaMa'aleh, Dishon and al-Manara settlements.

The resistance fighters targeted invading Israeli forces on the outskirts of Odaisseh town near the al-Khazzan area in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese resistance group also said it had “launched an air assault with a squadron of attack drones on the Yir'on and Ein Ya’akov settlements.

The aerial attacks, Hezbollah said, achieved “accurate hits,” and caused an unspecified number of injuries.

According to Israeli media, air raid sirens were sounded in several towns and settlements, in the northern parts of occupied Palestine.

Hezbollah said the attacks are in response to Israeli strikes against Lebanese towns, villages and civilians as well as in support of Palestinians in Gaza and their resistance.

Israel in recent days has confirmed the deaths of dozens of its soldiers in southern Lebanon as it continues its ground invasion there.

Meanwhile, the Israeli regime presses ahead with its aggression against Lebanon, causing more civilian deaths and injuries in its latest attacks on the Arab country.

In the most recent aggression, Lebanon's health ministry said at least three people were killed in an Israeli strike Thursday in the main eastern city of Baalbek.

"The Israeli enemy strike... in Baalbek killed three people, in an initial toll," a ministry statement said, adding that "body parts were recovered from the site and their identities are being verified".

At least Nine people were also killed in an earlier air raid on Baalbek city in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley.

Several others have been injured. Israel’s strikes also hit multiple areas in the capital, including Burj al-Brajneh and Hareh Harik.

A similar strike in southern Beirut on Wednesday resulted in the deaths of eight people.

Israeli jets also struck the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Lebanon, prompting the Security Council to condemn such attacks.

The recent strikes bring the Lebanese death toll since last October to nearly 3,370. More than 14,300 people have also been injured.
