The Israeli regime has claimed the lives of nearly four dozen Palestinians, most of them women and children, in fresh strikes on the central Gaza Strip as the occupying entity forges ahead with its atrocious onslaught on the blockaded territory.

Palestine’s official news agency WAFA said on Friday that at least 47 Palestinians were confirmed dead following overnight Israeli aggression on the city of Deir al-Balah, the Nuseirat refugee camp and the town of al-Zawaida in central Gaza.

The news agency cited medical sources as reporting that the bodies of the deceased were transported to al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah and numerous others had sustained injuries due to the horrific Israeli bombardments on various residential areas.

“Many victims were killed in Nuseirat, where Israeli airstrikes hit several homes, including those sheltering displaced families from other regions,” WAFA said.

The resistance media stressed that four brothers (pictured below) were among the fatalities after the Israeli strikes on the Nuseirat refugee camp, identifying them as Moataz, Mohammed, Omar and Mustafa Mazan Abu Khadra. Another brother Mahmoud had also been killed hours before them.

The Abu Khadra brothers reunite in martyrdom with their father, who had previously lost his life in Israeli bombardments on central Gaza.

Local media reports said search and rescue operations are ongoing as efforts continue to locate missing individuals trapped under the rubble in the targeted areas.

In a statement earlier in the day, the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement condemned global silence on the ongoing “ethnic cleansing” in the besieged Gaza Strip following Israel’s deadly bombing of Kamal Adwan Hospital that torched medical supplies and disrupted operations.

Israeli warplanes on Thursday once again struck Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, killing at least four people, including two children, and wounding several medical staff.

Hamas stressed that deadly aerial aggression against the hospital “is a compounded war crime committed by the fascist occupation army within the context of the comprehensive war of genocide it is waging against our steadfast people in northern Gaza.”

Israel unleashed a genocidal Gaza onslaught on October 7, 2023, after Hamas-led resistance groups carried out a surprise operation against the usurping entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

So far, the occupying regime has killed at least 43,259 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured 101,827 others in the besieged Gaza, according to the latest official tally.

In its brutal aggression, Israel has deliberately targeted buildings and tents sheltering displaced Palestinians and committed war crimes.
