Hezbollah has conducted new missile strikes against the northern occupied territories in retaliation for Israel’s bombardment of Lebanon.

On Tuesday, the Lebanese resistance movement fired 50 rockets at Dado base, the headquarters of the Northern Command of the Israeli military, located northwest the occupied city of Safad, just 12 kilometers from Lebanon’s border.

“In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people, the Islamic Resistance fighters bombed the Dado base on Tuesday with 50 rockets,” Hezbollah stated.

Dado was established in 1948. The base is responsible for the command of the ground forces operating in the northern region, and it is in charge of managing the conflict on the Lebanese and Syrian fronts.

With an area of 240 square kilometers, the base manages several regional and combat divisions, including the 210th Division, as well as the 91st Division, and the 146th Division.

Separately on Tuesday, Hezbollah said it had targeted the Samson base, a command preparation center and regional preparation unit, using Fadi 3 missiles for the first time.

Samson is a camp of the Technology and Maintenance Corps of the Israeli military near the Golani interchange in the Lower Galilee region of northern occupied territories to the east of Haifa and west of Tiberias.

On Monday, Israeli warplanes conducted extensive airstrikes on towns and villages in Lebanon. 558 people, including 50 children, have been killed. 1,835 have been wounded.

Meanwhile, a source close to Hezbollah, who requested anonymity, told AFP that the group’s military commander Ibrahim Kobeissi has been killed in an Israeli strike on Beirut’s southern suburbs.

Lebanon’s Health Ministry said the Israeli strike on Ghobeiri in Beirut's southern suburbs killed six people and injured 15.
