Sept. 17: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel's genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed nearly 41,300 Palestinians so far, the majority of them children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Tuesday, September 17, are as follows:

Al-Quds Brigades' operations on Sept 17:

  • Targeted an Israeli military Merkava tank that had penetrated the area around the Adnan Abu Taha intersection in Rafah city, southern Gaza Strip, by detonating a highly explosive Thaqib [piercing] directional bomb.
  • Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces and their military vehicles in the axes of clashes in Balata Camp, occupied West Bank. 

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' operations on Sept. 17:

  • Confronted and targeted Israeli forces storming Balata camp in the occupied West Bank with a heavy hail of bullets. 

Hezbollah's operations on Sept. 17:

  • Targeted Israeli forces at the Al-Abad site with appropriate weapons. 
  • Targeted buildings housing Israeli forces in the "Manara" settlement.
  • Targeted a gathering of Israeli forces at Al-Karantina Hill with appropriate weapons. 
  • Targeted artillery positions of Israeli forces at the "Zaoura" site with rockets.
  • Launched an aerial attack with squadrons of attack drones on newly established headquarters for a reconnaissance force from the 631st Golani Brigade in the “Ramot Naftali” barracks. 
  • Targeted the “Al-Rahib” site with artillery shells.
