Doctors working in the largest hospital in Gaza’s southern city of Khan Younis say the medical facility is overwhelmed by wounded people, as Israeli forces continue the savage invasion of the populated area.

“There’s no space for more patients,” Mohammed Zaqout, the director of Nasser Hospital, told AFP. “There’s no space in the operating theatres. There is a lack of medical supplies, so we cannot save our patients.”

Citing medical officials, Al-Jazeera reported Wednesday That at least 23 people have been killed since the early morning hours.

According to the report Israel’s quadcopter drones keep attacking medical teams as they try to recover the injured.

The regime’s military forces, it said, continue to destroy residential buildings and civil infrastructure in the al-Qarara area, a small village east of Khan Younis.

Israeli forces began bombarding the southern city on July 22, forcing about 150,000 people to flee — many of whom have been displaced four or five times or more.

As of Tuesday, at least 89 Palestinians were killed by the regime’s forces in the city, according to the Gaza Government Media Office.
