Pro-Palestinian demonstrators were seen protesting against the Eurosatory 2024 defense and security trade show in Paris on Monday.
"Many French arms dealers … sell weapons to Israel or components used in missiles or bombs," said Mohammed, a member of the EuroPalestine group.
"We find this unacceptable and immoral for a country like France that calls itself a country of human rights."
Footage shows police officers surrounding a small number of protesters and guiding them away from the venue, where a larger rally took place.
"We've won two victories: firstly, the French executive's decision to ban Israeli manufacturers from attending the show," said Jacques from Association France Palestine Solidarity.
"Secondly, the decision by the Bobigny Court to prohibit the presence of any subsidiary of the Israeli arms industry."
In May, a French court barred Israeli companies from the expo while last Saturday, a district court in Bobigny said that all Israeli participants would be excluded because they might act as 'intermediaries for Israeli arms firms'.
According to reports, up to 74 Israeli firms had been due to attend. The event sees over 1,700 firms and around 60,000 people from across 150 countries.
