Simultaneous attacks have targeted three military bases housing US occupation forces in Syria.

Citing sources, Lebanon’s Al Mayadeen TV channel reported that the US base in al-Omar oil field, east of Syria’s Dayr al-Zawr Province, came under shelling on Saturday night.

The raid, involving ground-to-ground weapons, caused explosions inside the facility, the report said, adding that the blasts were heard in surrounding areas.

Harab Cir bases in Syria’s al-Hasakah Provinces also came under a similar attack.

Meanwhile, drones of an unknown origin targeted the al-Tanf base in Syria’s Homs Province, near the Jordanian border.

There have been no reports of casualties or damage so far.

On Friday, a loud explosion was heard at the base that houses US troops in the Conoco gas field in Dayr al-Zawr.

US bases in the region have been the target of several rocket or drone attacks in the past month amid soaring anti-American sentiment over Washington’s all-out support for Israel’s bloody bombing campaign on the Gaza Strip.

Tel Aviv launched the war on the besieged Gaza on October 7, killing 7,703 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 19,743 others.

The occupying regime has also imposed a "complete siege" on Gaza, cutting off fuel, electricity, food and water to the more than two million Palestinians living in the coastal enclave.

Israel artillery fire targets Syria’s Quneitra

In a separate development on Sunday, the Israeli military carried out an artillery attack on the outskirts of Syria’s southern Quneitra Province.

The media affiliated to anti-Damascus militants reported that the Israeli artillery fire had targeted the posts held by the Syrian Army and its allies.

The assault took place after resistance fighters launched rocket attacks toward the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights in the past few days.
