France abaya ban

On August 27, the French Education Minister announced that the wearing of abayas, long dresses, would no longer be allowed for girls in public schools.

On Monday, the law was enforced with police standing in front of schools and preventing any girls wearing abayas and who refuse to take it off from entering the schools. We discussed this issue with our guests in this edition of the Spotlight.
