The top Iranian and Turkish diplomats have exchanged views on a range of issues during a meeting in Tehran.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian hosted his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, in the Iranian capital on Sunday.
During their meeting, the two sides discussed important matters of mutual concern, as well as regional issues and international developments.
Fidan is on his first visit to Tehran since his appointment as Turkey’s foreign minister in June.
“The visit will render the opportunity to discuss the possibilities for further advancing our bilateral cooperation in all fields with Iran and to exchange views on current regional and international developments,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a press release on Saturday.
