Crisis in Niger

The crisis in Niger is further deepening as military junta leaders there have given 48 hours to the French ambassador to leave the country.

But Paris has dismissed the ultimatum saying the junta leaders have no authority to do so. This is while people across Niger are holding almost daily anti-French rallies to call on the former colonial power to leave their country.
