Tunisia after elections

Tunisia is still in political turmoil event after the recent parliamentary elections with the main opposition coalition calling on President Kais Saied to step down following an extremely low voter turnout at the polls.

Politicians are now claiming that the country is back to square one in terms of democracy. This week we are focusing on the fluid political situation in Tunisia after the country’s parliamentary election with the opposition insisting that the low voter turnout practically left the head of state without legitimacy.

The second part of the show will be on continued protests in Morocco against the kingdom's normalization of ties with the Israeli regime. Moroccans also led the world in voicing solidarity in Palestine during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
