Cameroon have kept their hopes of making the last 16 of the World Cup alive, after fighting back from 2 goals down to draw 3-all, in a thrilling Group G encounter with Serbia.
The African side took the lead through a back-post finish by Jean-Charles Castelletto after 30 minutes. But Serbia didn’t panic and turned the game on its head in first-half stoppage time, with a quick-fire by Strahinja Pavlovic and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Aleksandar Mitrovic then added a third for the Serbs shortly into second half, and looked to be cruising to a win. However, the Indomitable Lions roared back, thanks to a superb lob by Vincent Aboubakar in the 63rd minute, and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting's equalizer 3 minutes later. Both sides had lost their opening matches, so the result leaves them two points adrift of Brazil and Switzerland, who meet later tonight.
