Facebook failing to check hate speech, fake news in India

Leaked papers show the company is selective in curbing hate speech, misinformation and inflammatory posts, particularly anti-Muslim content.  The company has been accused of was selectively enforcing its policies on hate speech to avoid blowback from India’s ruling party. PM Modi and Facebook CEO Zuckerberg are reported to have developed close relations.
