This edition of Bazaar explores Irans pharmaceutical industry and its related trades. Also it takes a deep look at biopharmaceutical productions and services that have been gaining momentum in the recent decade.
Currently, Iran has 15 pharmaceutical faculties, which train scores of pharmacists and researchers each year. Also, there are over 120 pharmaceutical companies that produce medicine and 70 factories that produce raw pharmaceutical materials.

Iran ranks 12th in the world and first in West Asia in terms of biotechnology. Nearly 10 percent of the income of knowledge-based companies in Iran is related to biotechnology.
