Heat beat Bucks 116-114, take 2-0 series lead

Over the NBA, the fifth-seeded Miami Heat have posted a 116 to 114 win over the top seeded Milwaukee Bucks in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

After posting a 115 to 104 win in Game 1, the Heat appeared to be in command as they took the opener 38 to 29 and held on to their advantage in the 2nd, leading by 6 points at the intermission. Milwaukee cut the deficit to 2 points by the end of the 3rd quarter and took the final frame 28-26, which was not enough to avoid their 2nd defeat against Miami.

Jimmy Butler scored 40 points for the Heat and the Bucks were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who finished with 29 points and 14 rebounds.

That’s while, the Houston Rockets overcame the Oklahoma City Thunder 104 to 102 in Game 7 to advance to the Western Conference Semifinals.
