Stefanos Tsitsipas has earned one of the biggest wins of his career after defeating World Number two Rafael Nadal two sets to one to reach the final of the Madrid Open.
The young Greek won the opening set 6-4. But the 17-time Grand Slam winner fought back, winning the second set 6-2 to send the match to a decider.
Tsitsipas showed no fear, playing aggressively in the third set and managed to finish it 6-3 to wrap up the match after two hours and 34 minutes.
With the victory, the 20-year-old is projected to climb to a career-high ATP Ranking of at least number seven on Monday pending his result against World Number one Novak Djokovic in the final.
