One year after US President Donald Trump unilaterally withdrew the United States from the Iran nuclear deal and reinstated sanctions, Tehran has announced counter measures.

In a televised address, Iran's President Hassan Rouhani informed the nation about the move. Iran will suspend exports of excess enriched uranium and heavy water for a 60-day period.
