Afghan civilian casualties sharply rising: Pentagon

A US report says civilian casualties are sharply rising in Afghanistan amid bloody violence, and failure to restore peace and stability 17 years after the US invasion. The Pentagon report said US-led forces in Afghanistan counted over four-thousand casualties–about one-quarter of which were deaths.
