The Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi is in Tehran on an official visit. Al-Abadi and his high ranking delegation were as officially welcomed by Iranian First Vice-President Es’haq Jahangiri at the Sa'adabad palace. The aim of his trip is to discuss regional and bilateral issues including the recent secession referendum by Iraq’s Kurdish autonomous region.
