Oxfam: African asylum seekers suffering torture, rape in Libya’s detention centers

Leading charity organization Oxfam warns that a large number of African asylum seekers are suffering abuse, torture and rape while crossing lawless Libya in search of a new life in Europe. The international group is also worried that a recent deal struck between Italy and the UN-backed government in Libya will make the situation even worse.
