Britain’s poverty pandemic

Widespread poverty in the UK costs British taxpayers £78 billion every year, according to the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.

With reports suggesting that between 4 and 13 Million people in the UK are living below the poverty line, and with first-hand experience of this subject witnessed on the front line, this episode of ED will expose the lower end of Britain’s economic ladder and show how poverty is becoming the norm for millions of people who sleep each night hungry, and send their children to school on empty stomachs ass parents line the queues of food bank.

The program will examine the economic impact on Britain, the potential consequences to the British economy and welfare system following Brexit, the socio-economic crisis rife in Britain’s poorest housing estates, and a look into the destructive force of poverty in UK homes, schools, towns and economies.
