US Republican President-elect Donald Trump won the race against her Democratic rival Hillary Clinton although public polls predicted otherwise. The shocking victory of Trump has sparked protests across the country.

Richard Becker, a member of the ANSWER Coalition, believes the US electoral system is truly a “rigged” one which works in favor of billionaires who have a chance to win the election.

“It is rigged in favor of Trump, it is rigged in favor of the billionaires and the millionaires who are the only ones who actually can make it into the finals of the election … because it takes hundreds of millions and billions of dollars to do that and that is not coming from small donors, it is coming from Wall Street, it is coming from big business,” the activist told Press TV.

He also said the two leading candidates in the 2016 US presidential election were “widely disliked” by the American population and a majority of people wished they had other choices.

The activist further stated there is a great deal of fear among the immigrants, undocumented workers and Muslims in the United States due to Trump’s racism, misogyny, anti-Islamic and anti-immigrant statements.

He also predicted that Trump will move forward with a very “reactionary” and “anti-people agenda,” adding that he will assume the position of "the CEO of the Empire" or "the CEO of the ruling class" in the United States.

Becker concluded by saying that Donald Trump has been “very unpredictable” which is the reason why virtually the whole political establishment in the US rallied behind Clinton because they considered Trump to be “a wild card.”
