Taiwan hosts intl. hot air balloon festival
Taiwan Hot Air Balloon Festival is one of the biggest events in summer. This year, the 6th annual International event is underway in Taitung county.
The spectacular Fiesta offers breathtaking scenery of valleys, mountains, and even the sea to the visitors. Participants can pay 278 US dollars per person for a 40-minute balloon ride to enjoy the beauty of the landscape, or about 16 dollars per person for a Balloon Tethering Ride.
Besides hot air balloons, there will also be six light and music shows. The festival runs through August 7th with hot air balloons from Taiwan and around the world in full swing.
