Thousands joined an anti-TTIP protest in Rome

Tens of thousands took to the streets in Rome to demonstrate against the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP).

Thousands of people from across Italy have gathered in Rome for a demonstration against the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership between the European Union and the United States. They argue the planned trade deal would hand too much power to big multi-national corporations at the expense of European consumers and workers.
