The US has been floating the idea that NATO should be militarily engaged in a so-called war against Daesh in both Iraq and Syria. Meanwhile, tensions are escalating between Turkey and Russia, with Ankara accusing Moscow of war crimes, while the YPG Kurds are being shelled by Turkey in Syria.

Israel atrocities in occupied Palestine 

The video went viral: A Palestinian man on wheel chair who intended to help an injured Palestinian woman was pushed to the ground by Israeli forces. Over 180 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli troops. Meanwhile, the UK government has announced that it would ban boycotts of Israel, saying this would protect Britain’s national security.

Humanitarian crisis in Yemen 

The United Nations warns conflict-ridden Yemen is on the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe. More than 8,200 civilians have been killed and over 16,000 wounded since the Saudi military began its bombing campaign against the Arabian Peninsula state.
