Daesh releases grisly footage of beheading alleged Russian spy

A screen capture from a video released by the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group on December 2, 2015, purportedly showing the execution of an alleged Russian spy

The Daesh Takfiri terrorist group has released a new propaganda video showing they behead an alleged Russian spy in the northern Syrian city of Raqqah.

In the video released on Wednesday, a Daesh member can be seen with a captive clad in an orange jumpsuit kneeling before him. The killer, speaking in Russian, says the airstrikes ordered by Russian President Russian President Vladimir Putin against the terrorists have "only made us more certain and more firm."

He goes on to address the people of Russia, saying, “You will not find peace in your homes. We will kill your sons... for each son you killed here. And we will destroy your homes for each home you destroyed here."

Before being executed by the terrorist, the prisoner claimed to be a Russian national from the Chechen Republic named Magomed Khasiyev, and said he joined Daesh to spy for the Federal Security Service (FSB) in 2014.

The video, titled “You Shall be Disappointed and Humiliated O Russians,” has not yet been verified and a senior FSB official has labeled the claims as baseless.

The footage comes after Russia started attacking Daesh targets in Syria upon a request by the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on September 30.
