A health clinic in London has mistakenly revealed the HIV status of about 800 patients.
According to reports media, the newsletter was sent to about 780 patients who had signed up to its Option E service, which allows people to book appointments and receive test results by email. Instead of hiding the personal details of those on its recipient list, it included their full names and email addresses.

Most patients said the breach was devastating error. They are worried that information implies all people on the list are HIV positive.
The clinic run by Chelsea and Westminster NHS trust has apologized for the error pledging to investigate how the breach occurred.
Now UK’s data protection watchdog is likely to begin an investigation into the breach.
Meanwhile, the Health Secretary, Jeremy Hunt, called the mistake completely unacceptable.
