Britons set to head to polls on Thursday

Britons are set to go to the polls on Thursday for the most unpredictable elections in years.
Party leaders and candidates are criss-crossing the country as part of their last-ditch efforts on the final day of campaigning. Polls suggest that no party will win enough seats for an outright majority. Tens of millions are registered to vote, and nearly 4,000 candidates are in the running for Westminster. Ballots will be cast in around 50-thousand polling stations around the country including in unusual places like pubs, caravans and even garages. The initial results for the 650 seats of parliament will be announced Thursday night and final results are not expected until Friday afternoon.
