All eyes are on the Supreme Court of Pakistan after several petitions were filed to get one of the leading political party banned. This lawyer filed petition with the top court and provided evidence against Muttehida Qaumi Movement or the MQM, a Karachi based political party believed to be involved in terrorism and killing political figures and Shia and Sunni leaders.

The Security forces carried out raid at the headquarter of MQM in recent weeks and recovered large cache of NATO-manufactured weapons. They also arrested dozens of the group's members.

Confessions of the group's members are just tip of the iceberg on how MQM allegedly killed thousands of citizens, political rivals and most prominently a large number of Sunni and Shia leaders.Altaf Hussain, a self exiled British national is the head of MQM who is facing allegations of working for foreign powers.

The crime rate and particularly sectarian violence has considerably dropped in Karachi since security forces arrested members of death squad of MQM. The security forces have found overwhelming evidence that the party is also engaged in killing its own activists and senior leaders but surprisingly the MQM routinely condemns and mourns over deaths of people in violence that it allegedly masterminded time and again.
