220 Assyrian Christians abducted by ISIL in northeastern Syria

Assyrians from Iraq and Syria have held a rally in the Lebanese capital Beirut in solidarity with scores of co-religionists abducted by the ISIL terrorist group in Syria.
The protesters waved flags and held up placards, calling for urgent aid and a safe haven for the minority group in the two crisis-hit countries. The demonstrators urged the international community to take action against genocide and ethnic cleansing by the ISIL Takfiris.
