Skewed perception of terrorism in West

Western media propagate Islamophobia by skewing the perception of terrorism.

The media portrays terrorism as though it is almost exclusively a “Muslim” problem; but non-Muslims have killed overwhelmingly more civilians.

In the last 70 years, soldiers of Christian countries have killed overwhelmingly more civilians than Muslim extremists. It is the Muslims, however, who have had intolerably more negative media coverage.

Furthermore, Britain and the United States have killed millions of civilians in the last 15 years alone. If attacks kill innocent civilians, then surely Britain and the US, both Christian countries, are guilty of terrorism.

Recently, 17 people were killed by terrorists in France. In response, nearly four million people gathered in Paris to march in solidarity, leaders from nearly 50 countries travelled to Paris to join them and nearly all mainstream media has had constant coverage.

Only last month in Pakistan, over 150 people were killed by terrorists, most of them children, and no such media coverage happened.
